My Wedding World is a new hub for wedding advice and resources where couples can find inspiration and honest feedback about the fun, frustrations, and huge mistakes of real couples who’ve survived their own wedding planning process.
Our Featured Weddings section features Q&As with real couples about their wedding experiences without the sugar-coating, including what they did right and anything they would do differently. Just because it’s a special day doesn’t mean it was perfect and we don’t think you should have to pretend that it was. We ask our couples to share their vendor troubles, budget anxieties, and venue complaints right alongside their favourite memories and best advice because the best way to avoid making the same mistakes is hearing from the people who’ve already gone through it.
Our Recommended Vendors section features the best of the best from photographers to musicians to officiants, including some unique options like live painters and paper bouquets. We only accept highly vetted vendors who’ve worked with couples we’ve spoken to directly about their services. As we expand, we’ll try to include vendors from all over the place so this site can be useful to everyone, not just Toronto couples.
